NEWS UPDATE - 11 JUNE 1999
THE SILVER SURFER project has been cancelled
by Marvel due to a contractual dispute.

The SILVER SURFER teams up with DOCTOR STRANGE (in his 1970s blue garb) and IRON MAN (wearing for the first time his Moebius-designed armor) to save an alternate Earth from total destruction at the hands of the merciless OVERLORD -- last seen in the Lee-Buscema
Silver Surfer #6.

That alternate Earth turns out to be the Earth previously seen in the Lee-Kirby's Simon & Shuster Silver Surfer graphic novel and the Lee-Moebius' Silver Surfer: Parable graphic novel.  An Earth without super-heroes -- but upon which dwells ANOTHER SILVER SURFER, now enslaved by the OVERLORD...
